The Card Guard is designed to protect a boxed deck of playing cards.  It is used by professional performers worldwide.  You will notice that the Card Guard is bent inward slightly so that it will grasp and hold a boxed deck of playing cards.  To loosen, (or tighten) the hold on the playing cards, the Card Guard can be bent slightly either way to fit your preference.
