Yes, You Can Do It Too - Dennis Bowman
The art of ventriloquism has been around a long time. Long before we had movies, television, videos, and DVD's, there was live entertainment-people performing on stages before live audiences. Often in these shows, the performers would be singers, dancers, jugglers, magicians, and ventriloquists. Our fascination with ventriloquism continues to this day.
When we see someone take center stage with a wooden "dummy" or some other puppet, we can't wait for the illusion to begin. We want to believe that the doll really can talk. We want the act to be funny. We want to get lost in the world of "make believe." In other words, we want the ventriloquist to be good at what he or she does.
