Simply stated, you hand a clipboard to a member of the audience and have them jot down something on the paper clipped to it. They may jot down a name, a number, a "doodle" or a fairly intricate design. You instruct your volunteer to remove the sheet of paper they've written on and show it to the audience. At the same time the clipboard is returned to you and set aside. After the volunteer's image has been shown, inform them that it is to be destroyed-either crumpled up and placed in their pocket, torn up or thrown away. What happens next is entirely up to you. You already know what the volunteer has written and you may reveal this any way you choose!
